max tire width Micargi Huntington

Hello all first post here, i'm curious if can fit a 26x3in tire on a micargi Huntington, i don't have one local, if someone knows the max tire size i can fit that would be awesome thx in advance.

The Micargi Huntington is a beach cruiser so I would think the tire would most likely fit on the rim ( barely) though as that bike just has standard beach cruiser stock tires that are no more than probably 2.25. I would not recommend larger tires unless your using a jack shaft set up, A the standard chain set up probably would rub the rear tire pretty bad if a 3.00. Others will chime in that may of done this. Search the form for 3 inch tires and plenty will come up, it will give you good info. \

As above, if you like fat tires, use a jack shaft kit, friction kit or go electric.
