Magneto Gap

Yep that's what I need. What is the proper magneto gap for a ChinaGirl and where exactly is it being measured from?
Ran a search but didn't turn up anything. I swear this information was available before the page format change, but I can't seem to turn it up now.
Anywho, as good as we all are at eyeballing, I'd like to have some numbers to work with now that I've got my Dax motor back (and a new carb, magneto, and CDI.)

On every small engine I've worked on, an index card between the flywheel magnet and the coil/magneto is the gap I used. Always worked great. Don't know the actual gap.

just before the 4 screws are tightened all the way, one wiggles the stator a bit to get it to sit firmly on the round, boss cast into the case

the boss aligns it to have a clearance of about at least 8 thou at both top & bottom

Thank you crassius, I can work with that. I ask because when I pulled the magneto cover off, I noticed a significantly larger gap on the bottom, nearly touching at the top.
