L luke duke New Member Aug 6, 2008 23 0 0 Sep 11, 2008 #1 The 2 covers on the chain sprocket side of the bike are very hot! after a long ride. Iss this normal? is it anything to worry about, apart from being careful not to burn a hole in my leg when i get off!

I have ridden several hours in 80+ degree heat and while the engine/covers were hot, they were never so hot as to cause burns.
