just a idea, but if you can find the color you want its not to hard to paint your rims,here is how i do it ,lightly sand the rim, slice a bunch of straws down the middle put em on your spokes secure em so they dont slide all over hange the wheel and spray away, let the paint cure for 2 days then use tire spoons to put the tire on hope this helps!

The straws is a good idea and one I will use this winter, I think. I'm planning to use old moped hubs, new heavy duty spokes and 1952 Schwinn rims to lace them into. With your idea I can do a nice paint job on the rims once it is together. Never laced a wheel before, but even old dogs can learn new tricks so long as there's a treat involved. Ha!
