length of bucking bar

can anyone tell me the length of the bucking bar. I am switching back to stock from a centrifugal clutch. I am just going to cut one out of a drill bit. Also the diameter would be helpful as well.

5/16" = 8 mm x 28 mm
They can vary in length a bit.
A chewed up one off an older motor measured 26 mm

I make them out of a 5/16" or 11/32" (3/8" too large) drill bit...27.5mm long.

I'd reco just starting long and trimming it down to fit... there can be a significant variance between different engine manufacturers with their slightly different side plates.

Not a big deal ofc, it's just easier to take a bit more off than to try and add it back lol
