The sprocket and adapter I got from Firebelly connect to each other using three large but short bolts that go through the adapter and into the sprocket. They are flush with the sprocket on the spoke side, so I don't have the issue you mentioned, Tadd. While I am not using a disk brake on this bike it does look like there is plenty of room for a disk to work with this adapter.
 
hi, i too have ordered and paid for a hub adaptor and sprocket six weeks ago. sent three emails and left two messages on his voice mail. no reply. any acknowledgment would be greatly appreciated.

If they cannot supply surely it wouldnt be difficult to let me know?

any advice would be greatly appreciated.
