Is 7 inches of manifold tubing too much?

We run them that way all the time. Actually pretty close to proper length for 5k rpm tune...

Both of those are 79cc Lifan engines.

Nice bikes and thanks for sharing this information. I just wanted to know it the long manifold will work. Thats all. Im not looking for any faster speeds or any racing formulas. This is all good to know though. I just wanted to know if it will work before I weld my carb flange on tomorrow. Nice builds again.

The long manifold works great. Just seemed to load up when on and off throttle at very low speeds like tooling around a camp ground. Besides that tons of torque.
