I have the Zeda 80 engine. Does anyone know what is the size of the intake where the carb slides on? I have a dio reed valve but the intake on it is the same size as my stock intake I have the stock carb on there now and it slid right on, I have a expansion chamber pipe, high compression head, the reed valve, I have a windowed piston on the way and I want to upgrade my carb to the mikuni vm18 it says the diameter is 18mm where the carb slips on. Will this fit my intake? - https://www.ebay.com/itm/275190710052?hash=item4012a4ff24:g:ulsAAOSwmHhiHx0q

Chris 18mm sounds small, if you don't have calipers harbor freight sells a digital set that is good for what I've done.

Don't confuse mount size with carb size, they are not the same. The VM 18 fits a 23mm pipe size intake.
Okay it’s just this one I’m looking at if you scroll through the pictures it shows the measurements and says it’s 18mm where is goes onto the intake so I’m confused it does have a plastic spacer though

If you didn't see this already here's my experience with carbs with bushings, I bought 5 engine kits in 2011 that came with the CNS2 carb, that carb uses a bushing to fit the intake. Several of the bushing failed to grip or seal and you had to tighten the carb constantly, one fell of while a friend was riding. I had to make a copper bushing to solve the problem. There's only one still in use that I know of, we have changed to the NT or the Bofeng.
