installing a front brake on a Springer

This is my second build & I am using a Shwinn Drifter which has a springer front fork. I want to install front brakes as it only has the rear coaster brake. What make caliper is the best & do I need to modify the forks or can I mount the brake where the fender hole is located

Yep you sure can as that's what I did and was also able to retain my fender....I used a " Tectro " brake.....

It's actually spelled ..." tekTRO " ...and I've absolutely no idea of it's size....you'll have to do some research....I got it from a bike shop in my home town ( and they didn't like me at all )...wish I could help more .......
