Hey i'm nick I am 24 and live in Tempe Arizona. I have been looking into motorized bikes I have worked with cars jeeps and older schwinn's and go-peds but never motorcycles or motorized bikes. I am here looking for information on building my first.

Here are my current rides...

Looking forward to any advise form members about frames or motors to use or not use. As you can tell by my choice in cars and bicycles i'm looking to build something classic looking using a classic american made bike as a foundation.

Welcome Nick...There is a wealth of information here... Since you have mechanical ability you shouldn't have a problem. Little over a year ago was my first build...getting ready for my 6th. Most important thing about choosing a bike is that the engine needs to be mounted in a 75 degree "V". Weather you need to make a modified front mount depends. There are a number of mods that I do even before the engine is mounted. Some are a MUST and some because I want to, all inexpensive.

That bike frame looks like it will be quite worthy of a engine.

Have a look.....
