Wait what?, I had a 44tooth on there and the hoot gear box ground down 5 or so of my clutches, and then I Bought A 4g gear box 100t and then it slipped like crazy, then I was reommnded to someone els, and a bought a 56t sprocket..

And I thought bigger is lower rpms, and smaller is higher. I think you got it backwards.
A bigger rear sprocket lowers your speed
so that would raise your rpm's
A smaller rear sprocket lowers your rpm's

Terry Blow just blew up his 4 Stroke at 33 mph at 9800 rpm [ 5 to 1 4G 11 to 49 tooth sprockets 26.5" rear wheel
Redline is 7800 rpm

Your gearing with a 5 to 1 4G 11 to 56 tooth sprocket is ONLY
24.2 mph at 7800 rpm
30.4 mph at 9800 rpm

Re: I just put on my new 56 tooth sprocket and the chain keeps falling off even tho i

Just a little info about my HS 49cc 4G 5:1 with 11t freewheel to a 44t rear sprocket. I've got close to 4,000mi. on it, it goes 35mph on a good day and is still on the original clutch. All that has broken on it so far is 1 belt, 1 clutch bell and the oil slinger.....oh and an 11t freewheel. That's it. I ride this bike hard and it still runs strong. All I do is change the oil every 15-25 hrs. put gas in and ride the snot out of it. My repairs amount to $25 my cost and the bike weighs 74 lbs. and I'm tipping the scales at 180 lbs. Any questions?

Then oil must be leaking into my clutch or somthing, sounds like its broken.

I don't wan't to buy a 3rd motor. Sigh I think I might just end up giving it away. Don't be suprised if my next post on this forum is free bike kit and bike.
