HT bicycle engine won't spark

So here's the deal:

I bought a new NGK B6HS plug, gapped it to about .022, installed it outside the motor, kickstarted the thing and do not see a spark. I have the kill switch disengaged. Here is a picture of the wiring. blue is to blue, black to black (black box to engine), and the white cable from the engine just has a sleeve over it, the orange and green wires from the kill switch arn't hooked to anything.

Any idea why this isn't sparking?

(the plug laying on the ground is the stock one, not the NGK)

Re: HT engine won't spark

Check where the plug goes in the cap, sometimes they fall apart. Also, check to make sure the wire is SCREWED into the CDI.
