5 definates and 1 maybe, if you blow up the pic i think theres a kitten on the floor looking between the down tube and the fork way in the back. It has a white spot and black face.

There's no cat lamp. The small lamp in the background is of a dog.

Well shoot! I wasn't counting the statues on the table, and that little thing on the chair (or whatever it is) just behind the cylinder head I could never identify as a cat. It looks like an out of focus blob.
Oh well.. I still like the challenge!
