how do you check plug colour

where am I supposed to be looking for the tan/beige colour indicating the bike is not running too rich or too lean?

when i take my sparkplug cap off where am i looking for this colour?

On the center porcilin part of the plug where the spark happens inside the engine

because ijust pull the cap off and its a white porcelain peice

You'll need to remove the spark plug from the head with a spark plug socket.

I don't have a spark plug socket, unfortunately i don't have access to many tools right now..

Canadian Tire sells those double end brass looking sockets for use with a little L-bar(comes as 2-peice) for less than $10. Just don't take it out when the engine is hot! Oh, and don't over-torque it when you put it back in, it's an aluminium head remember.
