How do I modify an industrial engine?

I've seen a lot of builders using industrial engines such as Briggs, Predators, and Hondas stripped down for their bikes.


Can someone explain how to strip and improve an industrial engine?

The first step is to de-restrict the engine.

After that, it's basic hot rodding; free-er flowing exhaust, intake and a hotter ignition,
