The stock production Q-Matic isn't setup to work on the HF 79CC or 99CC motors.
The HF motors are low RPM motors and the clutch speed must be altered to work correctly on them. The belt is slightly wider [AX series] and the drive pulley must be up-sized to compensate. The mounting plate must be re-drilled to allow the rear of the drive to miss the valve cover [clutch bell hits motor if not "clocked" downward].
We offer the Q-Matic with the correct mounting pattern, larger drive pulley, and AX series drive belt for the HF motors, and the cost is $10.00 more than the stock production drive.
