So I have seen these Honda motors for go karts and minibikes and started thinking about mounting them on a bicycle. Has anyone done this before and what are the results? speed, mpg, power, problems. The HuaSheng 142F is a clone of the Honda GX50.
The quality of the HuaSheng is very good and is quite possibly the most popular 4 stroke engine used on motorized bicycles.
The genuine Honda may be slightly better made, but the cost difference between it and the HuaSheng has the HuaSheng coming out the winner.
