Right on, nice and stealthy, narrow too. I like it :) The parking brake's a good idea, can't just engage the clutch on an FD, eh? Gotta keep my eyes open for people chucking kids bikes :p

Yea those 'bobs' are like $400'ish, screw that ^^)
 
The pic is old; I have since converted a storage find, late '70s, 'Made in USA,
totally unridden, pristine, 3 spd, $15, Huffy into a robust 52cc, whizzer-like,
belt drive that screams like a stomped cat.

Here's a homebilt buggout trailer for you. Personally I
don't think anything much will happen on 12/21/12, but
it gave me an excuse to build this combination stealth
touring trailer/ game trolley/ wheel barrow & dolly.
The basic frame is from a stroller, but that was too
flimsy to suit me. The wheels are connected to 2 16#
bike forks which mount to the steel halves of handlebars
that connect to the double tubular aluminum frame.
It's light, sturdy, and will keep 4 cu. ft. of whatever
dry. the tub comes out for use as a trolley/dolley

That's great Otero. That's the great thing about scratch-built stuff. If you're not happy, rebuild! Love the camo too. The dolly function must be very handy! :)

btw, is that the same bike? She looks naked :o
 
Not sure which bike you're refering to,but this one is my
old school technium Ovation,(main tubes aluminum, the
rest chromoly). She's heavier than an all alu bike, but
more durable. It looks naked without the engine. Made
some serious mods to the fric-drive, and beefed up the
channel mount considerable for the trailer mount.
The plastic bag covers a Brooks B72 I just scored for
$15(geez, I'm lucky) Got the bike for $30.
Cuz the trailer sets so high, it was a real challenge
creating a mount. I went thru a 1/2 dozen configurations
be for I got one that worked right.
 
Interesting bunch of 'sleep-in' bike trailers; I didn't notice
any mountains in their backgrounds though. this little rig
is my current trailer. cheap to build, works well. I cant say
that for my $15 blue huffy. It suffered a fatal frame crack,
and has been replaced by a more robust $15 '86 Koga mtn.
bike which has been converted into the poor man's version
of the Koga 'World Traveler'.

Purty cool Bill! I have always wanted to do a "pop-up" like shown.

But that covered wagon one is looking like "build me. Build me now"

Be kind of a great gig to have a mobile bike shop. Have a hanging rack on the side and every thing you need inside on a pusher trailer.

How come phonetic isn't spelled the way it sounds!?
