Hi All,
Always been a petrol head and cyclist decided to try combining the two :)

Just bought a kit for my knockabout, rough looking MTB. Looking good but also looking for tips......

Welcome to the community. You'll find all the help and advice you'll need to get your first motorized bike up and running with a minimum of problems. Lots of experience here to draw from and our 'Search' will provide answers to most questions you might have. However don't hesitate to ask if you need any assistance.

Good luck and have fun with your first build.

Tom

Thanks Tom!

Just posted my first question! But if anybody needs info on my build I'd be happy to oblige.

Soram, Soram, welcome to the forum.

Just curious, are these motorized bikes legal in Dublin? I promise not to rat on you.

best of the season,

Ha all a bit grey. I'm guessing not so but a couple of lads drive them and lock them out side the pub and that for at least a year. I don't figure I'll be able to use it really but it's a it of fun to build!

I think the Republic will have inherited the core of it's road laws from Britain as a matter of expediency, and therefore there will be some registration required. Whether there is more or less bureaucracy attached, I do not now.
