On the coat tails of success w/ the "HFV2" http://motorbicycling.com/f42/blackbomber-hf-2-speed-16456.html I am building a Honda/Hua Sheng version on a beefed up Schwinn cruiser.
It is a 2 speed variable transmission that provides great lo end w/ commendable top end. If theres a hill in Seattle that it won't climb I gotta wonder if I should be riding my mb on that hill. The BlackBomber went up a 26% grade w/ a little help from my feet and maintained 20 mph up that hill. 20% grades can be done w/ no pedaling and 16-20mph!
It's exposed drive system adds the illusion of danger but it doesn't bite. It's just really fun and really reliable!
Cheers! Evan
