I’ve built a couple of them, about 20 years ago. Stainless steel plates and distilled water, it does work but not as good as he claims. I put it on my 2500HD 6.0 trying to improve my mileage. I used 4” PVC to make the tank.
It’s probably been 15 years, condensation from your home ac system works too, I connected mine between the throttle body and the filter in the intake tube, you could hear the idle change after I switched it on. I’ve since installed a cold air intake system, I was looking for more power for towing, the CAIS does better.
I've seen some others that look a lot better. Tesla is going to be coming out with an all hydrogen powered car soon. I feel as demand grows for higher mpg due to increasing gas prices, these kits are going to greatly improve as well as being affordable.
