HF predator 79cc in canada

i am hoping some one can help me out here
i am in toronto canada and am trying to get a harbour freight 79cc
but they tell me they wont ship to canada
has anyone here been able to come up with a work around for this
problem as i really want one

You could have someone in the states buy it for you and ship it to them, but you do realize that motorized bicycles are illegal in Canada, right?

Of course, they are also illegal many places in the US, and that doesn't stop some people, myself included.

they are not legal
but they are not illegal either
its a grey area and as long as your not stupid and unsafe they leave you alone
and like the states here in the great white north the laws of cities supersedes provincial law (state law} and the local police have stated that until the laws are clearer they will leave us alone
