Vedy cool SB. Please enter one of your 2 smokers when ya get one up and running if you would like.

My morning gig is a stipend volunteer truck driver and is a joy. In the morning I was coming down Avon MT. The left cost guys would laugh at what we call mountains here in CT. But happened to be thinking about the fire, Mosh and you. (how is the gas fund? I got an idea that would be win/win/win and will PM you) But pull up to a light behind a pick-up truck. In the back window was a decal of a feather with a bear paw print cut out at the tip. Feather was tip down and shaft up. Is that of any significants that you know of? Was ironic timing or as I choose to believe, a suggestion.

Well Dan Wife is big too big for you know wink .) Still not working I think I am number 36 on the dispatch list and I started at 41 DEC 23rd. I am studying my head off to try and take a course on becoming a mobile Crane operator but I just found out they have 22 people on the dispatch board now so I am a little confused as to what to do next. The course is 7K and I am pretty sure I don't want to get a loan for that much and still be unemployed. I will figure something out now, back to the build thing I have started all ready is the contest on now or do we have to wait. I am just about to finish sealing my top tube and then ready to build my bike. OH CRAP I JUST REMEMBERED we found out the sex from another ultra sound and ITS A BOY LOL

Wow!!! Congrats Dad!
In the ultra sound, was he peddling or motoring?

The dopy contest is all summer w/ final day, first day of fall. Can't be rushing in this heat lol. Really glad your joining in. Is a great looking MB and the G4 has really grown on me. Am building a plastic molding devise and want to try making a cover for them. Not that they don't look great, more to learn how deal.

The lack of work thing must be huge keep ya awake at night thing. Am really sorry to hear it Terry.

A few yrs back, I delivered pizzas during cash crunch. Biz/week day lunch rushs made an amazing hrly wage. Was kinda fun too. Had a GPS so didn't have any preasures. like getting lost. lol, I do that a lot. Space out while driving and "wake-up" wondering what I am doing in Massachusetts.

Dunno, just praying some thing breaks for you folks soonest.

My very best to the family and a hug from me and Carol for Mrs Mommy.

Hey Dan,
Thanks for asking after Moosh & me. Things will be close, but I think we'll have enough for gas to get home, sleeping in the truck along the way. Tags should get to me this coming Friday and we'll leave as soon as they're on the truck. Hoping to rendezvous with Camlifter at the central Ohio Race/Bike Show on Saturday and also hoping there are other forum members there to meet.
Regarding the feather/bear paw decal... I don't know it's intended meaning, but there's a good chance there is one to a particular tribe or Indian organization. Someone else may Know in your part of the world. The feather would of course be that of the eagle, usually bald eagle, which is a kind of symbol of Spirit. Eagles are seen as go betweens in a sense between the material world and the spirit world. I had an Ojibwe teacher/elder/friend who spoke of how as a boy he and his brother would lie on the ground looking up at the eagles as they rode the thermals. Goodsky's mother told them that sometimes miigizii (bald eagle) rises too high and gets caught in the thermals rising higher and higher never to return. I've never forgotten that as I, too, watch the eagles. I have often found a number of them circling above me and always send them my best thoughts and gratitude for being there. So there's that. The bears in my part of the world are seen as elder brothers and the paw is a symbol of bear medicine or healing medicine (healing energy). I always speak to the black bears as if they were my brothers, softly and with respect. I remember once in the early evening I was at a camp ground and came upon a bear strung up by its forelegs which had been shot by the camp owners. It looked very much like a man there in the twilight. We are not so very different, I think. And personally I believe we could use more bears and fewer people. That's how I see the bear paw and eagle feather decal and what I would think of looking at it. My perspective is that of a pipe carrier and elder. A young warrior veteran might see eagle and bear paw in more a kind of "protector of the people" sense as both can be fierce. Confused yet?
I'll look forward to your PM. Moosh says hi and I'm wagging my tail.

Any time Terry. Some amazing builds showing. Final is first day of fall so have time for multiple builds.

Also, if it OK with every body, I would like to add a Pusher category. HFs are on sale for 88 bucks! I might have a build for every category.

Yes that was one of the ones in the choices but I insist on a top tube tank for that extra clean look. That and I wanted the HD Axle Kit and integrated sprocket and drum brake that way it will look more like a motorbike than a bicycle. Plus I hate to loose the gears on a bike if it has them with the twin it comes with a single speed so it don't suck so bad to swap out the rear axle. Plus with an addition of a front drum brake it will be safer.

Just got HF flier in the mail the other day man they have a 4 stroke water pump looks like it'd bolt right up to a friction drive $99! They also have the $150 800 watt generator looks just like the one I just bought few weeks back for $99! They had several sizes of water pumps the one I mentioned is 1.5 HP the 2.5 OHV was $139

Seems like I saw a post about these water pumps being perfect fit anyone used one?

Picked up another HF for the pusher. $71.90 with 2 year warranty! I might go back and stock up.

Went semi nutz today. (I heard that! snork) Laser thermometer, dig caliper, wheel on a swivel and a bunch of odds, ends and some hand tools.

Reason for wheel on a swivel;
Made a trailer to be a mobile bike repair shop. Go to bike things/events. Tune-ups and wheel truing and emergency road side repair and towing. The bike stand on the trailer can carry a second bike underway. More an experiment but be a fun way to spend Sundays and holidays.

See? I ramble on threads I start too.

But awesome day. Got enough parts to keep me busy for 3 days. We should send parts to the middle East so they will stop throwing bullets at each other. Just can't be mad enough to shoot at folks if ya got parts to build stuff. We just won't send em stuff that goes boom. (hehe, I did get some parts to make small MB jets) make your own pulse jet - Google Search

Now that would be a cool category! "Jet propelled"

Would that be a one stroke?
