Hey I’m new to motorized bikes is there a good 100cc or 80cc motor that I can go 35 mph to 45 mph I’m 130 ponds

I have a 80cc on my 26" beach cruiser and I weight in at 196 pounds. I have been clocked by radar at 42 mph in a 35 zone.

What's more important than going fast is Stopping. If you're wanting to go really fast; then you need disc brakes. You need a frame and wheels capable of handling high speeds.

Other factors are:
Total weight
Terrain
Rider frame fit
Aerodynamics
Engine performance.

What all this means is if you're tall and thin, a frame can fit an engine and still be the correct fit for your body. A short light person using a frame that fits their body may not have enough room to fit an engine in it. Frame size has nothing to do with wheel size. Frame size is also important when it comes to aerodynamics. You'll be able to tripod further down towards the handlebars in order to cut down on wind resistance.

If you're a flat lander, use a 32t rear sprocket; these are the rpm your 2 stroke engine will have to do according to wheel size to reach 45 mph. This is where engine mods to improve performance will come in.

24" >> 8269

26" >> 7634 rpm

27.5" >> 7217 rpm

29" >> 6844 rpm
