Help with some odd rims?

Can I sandwich-mount a sprocket to these rims? (44- tooth)

I know that these aren't exactly what you wanna be using for this kind of mount, but I'm too cheap to buy a disc-mounted one. It would be a shame to waste the beautiful freebies... LOL I love the garbage in a college town.

Any possible way? At all???

If not, does somebody know the absolute cheapest place to buy a disc brake mounted sprocket? Can I drill my stock one coming in the mail to fit a disc mount?

You can drill the new one but you will need a drill press and good bits.
Use your brake disk for a template.
You can probably get a used non-disk rear wheel on craigslist for $30 or so.

Ok, the issue is NOT the disc brake. Only the front rim is of this type. The problem is regarding the Odd spoke pattern. There are four spokes, a break, four spokes, a break, etc.

My opinion ,,,I would think that is a weaker wheel with that spoke pattern ,and would be hard pressed to make the kit sproket stay in place ,put a note on the college communication board ,wheels should be abundent, maybe even disk
