Hello, I recently installed a new extended air intake pipe and now when i pull in the clutch, it goes full throttle. So when im sitting still the engine revs all the way up. Can someone tell me why this is happening? Its just a 2in pipe intake. If pics will help let me know and ill upload some. Thanks for any input you have.
Sounds like there's nothing controlling the carburetor. But I don't know much about this, some others more knowledgeable members will chime in soon...
look carefully around the welds - they sometimes leak there - if so, just painting them often works, but solder or JB weld is better
If you eliminate a leak, there's also the possibility of other "leaning" conditions. Is the carb near level? Is there enough of a vibration that the bowl-fuel is foaming?
