Help with gas tank!

Hello,
I have the stock black gas tank and it keeps leaking fuel from the cap. Do I need an O ring and if so what kind? Or anything else? No cracks or anything. Thanks.

In that thread is what I do to my fuel tank caps. Sometimes it works better for some then others.

Does it only leak from vibration when riding fast? If so, then from my experience you may have filled the tank too high. The cap is supposed to be vented so fuel will shake up out of it if there's a lot of vibration.

The stock tank stinks. I can't wait to chop it apart!

yes i could use some help locating a ducati style fuel tank for my mongoose deception 29inch mountain bike/very much the same as the nashmoto bike fuel tank any help would be great thx.
