My bumble bee gave its last buzz today I fear. So I'm thinking HF 79cc friction drive lift bike. I know i can do most of it but I'm a little stumped for a drive wheel. Not a lot of things come in 5/8' !D..
What I was thinking was something in 5/8 with a keyway. On ebay there is a 5/8 by 1.75 pulley. I could probably get two of them for the width and cut off the flanges but I hate to do that. If I could come up with a 5/8 steel pipe. I could cut a groove in it for the key. Then slide it inside another pipe I suppose.
Or I could go with 3 or 4 5/8 inch nuts but I wouldn't have a keyway. The outside diameter of those nuts isn't quite an inch.
If any of you guys have a better solution please please let me know.
