So, my name is casey and I'm from Nebraska, USA. To be honest I've been spying on you all for the past few days while I design my first build, I tried to find new sites not to be so creepy, but google always brought me here, lol.
Anyways, I look forward to meeting everyone.

Hello Casey welcome to the forum, glad Google brought you here.

So what is your build? Mountain bike, cruiser? 2-stroke or 4-stroke? Going with a kit or D.I.Y. build. We are all Motorized Bicycle fanatics and love to see bicycles transformed into motor assisted bicycle.

well, currently I'm trying to modify my Big Trek 8000 that I got last year. I love putting miles on it, but they just don't happen fast enough or easy enough, you know? I built the weed whacker friction motor in a day but I never got around to deciding how I wanted to put it on once I knew what I wanted to take it off for.

Here are my guidelines for building:

1) Predominant riding terrain.
2) Primary rider's physique.
3) Lookup and read local legal requirements.
4) Type of bike.
5) Budget.

Stay within these guidelines and you'll have a bike you can enjoy riding. Good luck with your build.
