Been researching these motorized bicycles for about a month.
My searching for info led me here.
I spent about three hours here last night reading and have found
some of the best technical info yet.
Thanks to all who have contributed.
It seems that this forum is more active than the three others I have
been looking at. That is a good thing, think I have found a home.
My main interest is in the board track replicas. Although I have a Schwinn
full suspension mtn bike that I am hoping to set up with a friction drive,
while I track down parts for a board track build.
Will try to post some photos in the appropriate section to get some
opinions.
I am a Journeyman Toolmaker but for the first time in my 36 year
career, I am working in a place where I do not have access to the
equipment after hours. Currently doing CNC programming and tooling
design and I enjoy it, but it sure is a drag to not have machinery access.
I am sorry that I don't have much to offer here, but you can be sure
that I will be gleaning as much information as I can.
It is because folks like you get on here and share your accomplishments
and disappointments that makes it easier for guys like me to do it right
the first time.
Again, thank you all.
Well, that is my introduction. Off now to do some reading.
