Hard to start motor

Ive recently changed to a CNS carb and although I feel the increased power, Ive noticed a new problem with the bike. Im not sure if this is related to the carb or just coincided with the timing of the change, but now it takes a good effort to start the bike. I live on a hill and this hill was sufficient to go 20-30 feet and the motor would start. Now it takes a few tries. On flat grounds I need to do 2 to 3 full sprints and then popping the clutch, when it used to only require 1.

Anyone have any ideas on this one? Is this related to the carb or can it be a spark plug or CDI issue?

Thanks in advance!

D.
