Harbor Freight sandblaster and powder coater

Anybody here try these? They are very inexpensive and my understanding is my
Compressor is sufficient for the sandblaster.

the sandblasting may take a while, but I thought this might be a better alternative than paint.

your thoughts?

I have the sandblaster. I use it for spot blasting welds and a bike frame recently. Works well but rather slowly. I'd buy another one if I needed it.

most of the reviews on YouTube said it could get the job done even though it took a little longer.

Have you done any powder coating?

I've never done any powder coating. It would be nice to be able to. There are lots of how to do it's on YouTube for the oven builds.

If it can fit in the oven it can be powder coated. I always felt that if the oven is frame size just about every thing else you'll need to do is going to fit.

yea the baking part is the only problem when it comes to the frame, smaller pieces can be done at home.

Quick quick measurement of my bikes and a 45” tall cabinet by 12-18” wide would bake a bike frame. Now if I just had room for it. If I build one, I’ll have to keep it in my storage unit. I would have to bring it home to use it.

but I would sure like to powder coat over paint. Definitely thinking about this. Lots of people on YouTube start with a little filing cabinet.
