Greyp Ebike

Its the cost thats the killer, I bet its at least $4k. Looks like a very nicely engineered package though.

equipped with Lithium-Nanophosphate battery-cells manufactured by A123 Systems?

Has anyone heard of this type of battery technology?

I don't think they tell any lies. I'm sure the "street mode" 15 mph can achieve 75 miles range. I could get 36 miles with my Revive / Magic Pie 2 at 20 mph with a Ping 750 watt-hr battery and this thing has a 1300 watt-hr battery.

As always, if it costs too much don't buy it.

looks like they copied my paint job for the bottle. I got rid of the bottle though and made it 48v again. my motorized bicycle likes the 48v a lot better lol

The power output part of the problem seems to be mostly solved. Now if they can just work out the range part. What would drive me wild would be a 100 mile range at full power, with 5 to 10 minute charge time.

I think I'm actually starting to get interested in Ebikes. If I could build my own that goes 30-35 mph, with a range of at least 40 miles I think I could live with that.

It seems like this may be possible with a 500-750w motor, and a 40 amp hour battery.

Yeah, I think so. Depends on the usual factors, Tires, weight, wind, hills, etc. Under inflated tires and heavy loads will reduce speed and distance a lot.
