fuel coming out of carb/air intake

can anyone shed some light on how this happens , i rarley turn the fuel valve off is this flooding the carby?

Its a standard NT carb.

Turn fuel valve off. check float level. check for dirt,rust,and or other grime.

Check the float heighth too.. The mould line or the Brass seam should be about level with the gasket when its turned upside down. Check to make sure no debris as stated earlier. those are the two biggest fuel overflow issues with any carb.

im not A1 with mechanics is the float inside the bottem bit of the carb?
