Fuel coming out of air cleaner.

First I would like to thank every one who helped me with my previous questions. I have only one more. When I first put gas in the tank it ran out of the air cleaner. What would cause that?

you problably have both petcocks on at the same time and you problably fill you carburator to the point of overflowing

Sounds like your float is stuck. Pull your carb off and the bowl and check your needle and seat. Something most likely got in there and is keeping the float from closing causing a overflow problem. If you are not running a fuel filter you may want to consider adding one.

also, check to make sure your plastic float isn't filling up with gas. if it has any gas in it, it's cracked somewhere and you'll need a new one.
