My Cranbrrok currently has a China Girl 2-stroke. I'm thinking I would rather have a 4-stroke motor. The bike has a rear sprocket already installed from the China Girl kit. I'm thinking a friction drive would be better and easier. I'll never ride it in the rain here in Arizona. I'd prefer a 49cc clone over a Honda since it's cheaper. The friction kit has no sprocket or chain, so it should be less problematic I'm assuming? Thoughts? Thanks!!!!

they both have thier merits. you can save money by going frition drive as you basically only need the engine and some metal.
if you go with the 7g (or any other 4-stroke kit with a gearbox) you can easily adapt it to run gears with a jackshaft and a fixie hub or derailuer.
a friction drive would be easier though, that said I found installing my 4-stroke easier than I expected it to be. at least as easy as the 2-stroke kit. that said, it was the second engine install, so i had practice.
