Five wires & four plugs... umm, ok.

Ok so I am lookin at this and am not sure what to do because only four wires attach to the CDI. It's easy to tell what wires come from what but the green n yellow/red ones come from the throttle which I just attached today.

(Two left CDI, two middle throttle, three right engine)

Black to black.
Blue to blue.
White is a 6v supply. You could use it for a headlight if you wish. Otherwise tape and secure it or cut it off. I opened up the magneto cover and cut it off in there.

The other two are the kill switch. They go into the remaining spots on the engine connectors. color does not matter there.
 
If the connectors are a bit loose, you can give them a pinch with a pair of pliers. The best thing to do would be to solder the connections. Also good practice would be to heat shrink or electrical tape the connections. I taped the whole length of wire harness. It looks a little neater than plain wires zip tied to the frame.

Sounds good, as always your advice is appreciated since u didn't tell me to shock myself like the other guy. As for the white line, I may use it for a head light and a rear red one if it can power that much but a good head light will come with a tire thing to power it. As for zip ties... I don't have but I think six on the bike right now for cables etc and they're black (the ties) so they blend good but I might use one more to hold the loose wire seen after taping em up with electrical tape. Even then I'll still need to more for the fuel line so it doesn't sit on the engine head. When everything is said n done I think I'll have like nine or ten zips on the bike but it all looks good right now.

I would recommend a battery powered light, Using the white wire uses power that could be going to the spark plug. A tire powered generator makes it harder to pedal. Though I wouldn't say that any idea is a bad idea.

ha! My bike is held together almost entirely with zip ties.
 
Also, the bike will run even with the kill switch wires disconnected. Just in case you're doing troubleshooting in that area.

So I could just cap it then since I'd rather not cut anything. As for a battery powered light, that's one option but I still like the tire thing better. Maybe a battery powered solar one if they make em but then u wonder about run time at night before it dies. Also, how would the tire drive light make it harder to pedal... all it is is a small friction drive wheel with the diameter of a nickel.

Ya I read that somewhere here... I think ill just wire it all up now n hope it goes well. If it doesn't then I'll trouble shoot heh.
