Finally Bought a Bike

After much research and consideration I finally took the plunge with the hopes the whole family will get involved. I bought a Huffy Cranbrook Cruiser and will be buying the BGF 80cc kit with the slant head because im in Puerto Rico and they offer the cheapest shipping.

I would like to thank all the members of the board in advance for this wonderful source of information!! I love this site, tons of info, pictures, facts, DIYs etc.

Anyways im going for a very retro look and would like some help with the paint job. I want the wheels and some details in gold and perhaps the frame in black, opinions?

I would like to paint the engine, is 500F paint enough or do I need header paint? (dont know how hot the china girls get )

There are some great places to ride, Im just not sure about riding a motor assisted bicycle in them. Arizona aint bad either been there a few times up north by Prescott.

Should I paint the frame after I finish drilling for mounts and mocking up the engine or before?

You probally should paint it after so your paint doesnt get scratched while youre drilling and mocking up the engine to the frame.
