Electric bike with 3speed hub

This is my project that is far from finished. Its a 24volt electric motor with two 12volt 7ah battery's. rear gear from elec mini dirtbike that bolts to a 16t chain gear. Rear hub is from a old 3speed 26inch rim, i think made by shimano. I laced it to a 20inch double wall rim, its tire is animal asm 120psi slick. Its goes 17mph in 1st, 27 in 2nd and 3rd is big so it feels like overdrive. I want to mount a 2stroke gas motor to the side like my other projects. So future plans on gas/electric bicycle.

I need to go to bed because even after reading your post then looking at the pictures the first thought that came to mind was "Why does he have a gas tank on an electric bike?" laff

Thanks dude. Its been many years in the making. I got two of these "future hybrids" and now a 3rd. Lost interest for 2 years. Now im back on the information train. Im working on num3 rite now as i speak.

Low stance feels good!
