Dual pull lever

I have seen them for the left side of the bars. Does anyone make them for the right side?

I must be missing something. Is there any need for them to be right-handed and left-handed?

The only thing that I can see is that if you flip one over to the other side, then the slots for the cable might be pointed downward. Is there any reason that that would be unacceptable?

Or is there something else?
