Does it matter...high hole or low hole piston with new top end kit?

I'm asking this more for reference, but If it ever came down to replacing my top end, would it matter if the piston that came with the new top end kit was a high hole or low hole piston? If it's different than the one my engine came with will that cause issues with the piston hitting the cylinder head or does it not matter which I use(high or low hole) piston? It's been a question I been wondering about for some time, in case I ever need to buy a new top end. Any advice is appreciated.

Yes it matters, you’ll have to match the original. The wrong piston will either hit the head and not complete a stroke or it will stop short of the top of the cylinder and have very little compression and probably won’t run.

If you took 30 seconds to type it into any given search bar, ( here Google YouTube, you would find more info on it than you wanted to know. Since you seem to have little experience let me help.
