Does anyone recognize this bike?

Does anyone have a clue who might have made this bike frame? Don't know if it's from an old bike or a reproduction but I got it cheap and it certainly has board tracker possiblities.

Couldn't find a serial number or manufacture's emblem on the head tube. Perhaps the fender mount on the seat stays might help identify it.

Have you looked for the serial # on the underside of the cranks/bottom bracket? Some companies put it down there.

That might be worth some money?!
Baird or Jason (26incher) will probably know what it is. ;)

Cha-CHING!!! Wuz my first thought when I saw it...so...had to have it. Nothing else original on it if it is an old frame.

Yes I did, wuz first place I looked. Didn't scrape paint to see if it had been filled in or filed off but no # there.

i think it's a Powerlite BMX cruiser, from around 78-79. they had a brake bridge like that. i dunno if anyone ever made a reproduction.

there's a forum called the BMX museum. someone there could probably tell you for sure.

great score, though. i'd love to have it...

Yes, VERY nice score for $50. I'll check out the BMX museum, thx for the tip Baird

You could just sell it to me for double what you paid and put your mind to rest :D It's got some qualities that I like such as the rear drop-outs....;)

Nice score bud!

Will the engine fit this frame without hitting the lower tube? This bike would look nice with those old school springer forks. Yeah nice score!

OK, BMX Museum came through. And Baird guessed it right.
It's a 79' Powerlite 3 bar. Seems to be very popular with the guys over at the BMX Museum.

Scotto- I'll keep your offer in mind...

As for if a motor will fit, I haven't checked that out yet.
