You could check for the Dome shape through the exhaust port.
Crank the motor to expose the top of the piston in the exhaust port.
Spun back tire the whole time and i got a 36T on there right now.
.
I have a solution to the spinning back tire deal.
King size 50T sprocket. Hot off the laser.

Really? i have allways ran a 36T.
I would think the bigger sprocket would make it easier.
So as far as the sprocket goes you think it's better not to change it.
I would think with the slant and a 50T i wouldn't need to peddle to takeoff.
What kinda experience you got out there?.
That paper label is on all the motors I got from Zoom... even the 50cc. Why they would put a 80cc label on 50cc bike is beyond me.
OK, this is interesting and important. I actually ordered a 50cc from Zoom. I assumed I had gotten a lucky break when I read the sticker. As far as I knew this was an 80.
So to clear up this piston issue is there a measurement I can take to confirm my engine size. The piston diameter should be the give-a-way right? I hope I have not made things confusing with unintentional dis-information. Sorry.
