difference between NT and NTTC carb?

Until recently, I have only heard the stock china girl carbs referred to as NT carbs. Now I am commonly hearing some carbs referred to as NTTC. Is there a difference?
 
The only thing I have seen is that the needle has a more tapered end and the NT carbs I've got have a more blunt end on the mixture needle, I cant say that this run true across the board though I only have 5 of the carbs, 2 NTTC and 2 NT and 1 WH, basically they all look the same and are as far as I can tell.
