Desert Whizzer ride

It was that time of year again
Jan 2024 for my gal and friends to go bird watching out by the Salton Sea Ca.
Winter time, millions if birds migrate there, it's a bird watchers paradise
I don't go bird watching I love to ride my Whizzer on those seemingly endless desert roads
Winter is the best time to ride in the desert with beautiful day time temps of 60*f - 75*f

I'm riding my M/B out to the Wind Farm, it's a 95 mile round trip from El Centro Ca. to Ocotillo Ca.

Signal Mountain it's in Mexico on the border

West on Hwy 98

Yep out in the middle of no where is the Wind Farm

East on Hwy S2 Signal Mountain in the distance

Gas up in Ocotillo Ca. before I head back

Other stuff I saw while riding around

Getting ready to plant, Fields were scraped of scrub brush and burned

Yep nothing but endless desert roads - Huff road

I put over 300 miles on my Whizzer in the 7 days we were there
Riding my Whizzer 4 of those days

FUN! I have been down in that area with my old motorhome, fallowed hwy1 up the coast, my brother lived in Reseda Ca. so we use to out every couple years. my current rig

this is in Washington at my nephews. It has the big 8.1 engine.

Yes I love it up north on Hwy 1 We try and go a few times a year up to places like Pismo Beach, Monteray Bay, Morrow bay, etc
For the past 17 years I also bring my Whizzer M/B on these RV trips

My wife & I like to go hang out in Morro Bay... My wife lived up there for 20 years before returning to Los Angeles 15 years ago.

Just to throw this out there... If any of you 'select few' are ever in LA, (near Santa Monica)... hit me up! I have a couple of MBs; we can ride the beach & have a few beers.

It's a 2008 only 26' but does a nice job for us. My sister-in-law lived in Pismo, Arora Grundy when she was young, and her sister still does. She get a yearly pas to the duns. we were just there last spring. Been to Hurst castle 3 times, and all the yay up and around Olympia mountain, and now my sister-in-law lives in Lacy WA along with her son. so have 2 places to park. I have also been to Jasper Canada 3 times through the 5 national park up there, beauty up there. I was in Palmdale CA. to a store Red barn antiques and there was a pair of older. Whizzers there if I would of had a way to haul them I would of owned them LOL..........Curt

For years I was always going to bring my brother over to your shop, he lived in Reseda, but was always so busy when we visited just never made it, His wife always use us as a excuse to go see the sites when we come, so everyday we would around and see different places..........Curt
