cvt,any good?

I have had good service from mine:

Some people say they got one with a "bent shaft" - actually the only thing wrong is the outboard pulley is not installed properly. I think the chinese guy that assembles them only has one eye. Mine had 6 rollers in it, some only have 4. You wind up with 3 in it anyway if you want better acceleration...

Bike has been a solid ride. 27 to 30 mph, lots of WOT. Starts on the first pull warm.

well thats good to hear.I still have a chain drive thats hangin on but not for long .Thanks for your info ffv8.

Just seen this: i have one and did not use it yet as the shaft threads are corked, were the clutch bell screws on.I am going to turn a new shaft and rethread it straight, when the time comes to use it. I got mine form scooterparts4less.com ,but that was a half doz.years ago..........Curt

FFV8 were did you get yours from?

I bought one about a year ago but hadn't used it yet either. I was thinking about using a jack shaft to run it and mounting it behind the seat post tube but changed my mind until I find a bigger frame to try it on...
was also thinking about taking it apart and putting better bearings on both shafts before trying to use it.
