Custom sprockets for mtn bike help

hi, i have a diamond back 28" mountain bike, and i was looking to order a sprocket from jakes custom bikes, and i looked at the pictures and then looked at my bike and there was no place on the wheel to put the sprocket. is there some sort of adapter? does anyone know if you could customize a diamond back bike?

Hello Kyle, if your 28" MTB has a rear disc you will need to fabricate something or use something like the top hat adapter.

If you have v-brakes, you can use the kit supplied rag joint or some of the after market sprocket adapters that are available.

Or you can go the route of a shifter kit.
