cold start

Can I do two threads back to back? One of my bikes with pull start and a new carb. wants NO choke to fire up, then needs choke RIGHT NOW to keep running. If I had three hands this woud be OK, but right now one hand has to fly over to the choke and catch it in time.
Anybody got any ideas?
I am physically unable to pedal start very much.
 
The one that needs choke "right now" might be running a lil on the lean side, but more likely the one that never needs choke is prolly rich... nevertheless, if the choke won't stay on/off by itself jus' tighten the lil screw that holds it together, the one under the air filter...

...and ya can start as many threads as you'd like - provided they are at least different topics & in the right subforum :)
