Clutch Lever Tension

How new is your engine? The clutch pull is very stiff when new. It will get easier to pull as the engine breaks in.

Its pretty new. I have about 300 miles on it. I built 2 at the actually. One for me and one for my woman. The clutch pull on hers is real nice and not stiff or hard at all compared to mine. These are my first builds. They are running very good otherwise. I love this site. Lots of good information.

Have you lubed the cable? Are there any sharp bends or kinks in how the cable is routed along the bike?

I did lube the clutch and throttle cables both. I did install a ported intake a while ago. I had to lower the clutch linkage screw on the engine to get enough clearance for my carburetor. That may have made it a little harder but it was very stiff originally before I installed the intake.

Here is a solution..reduces clutch handle pull by at least 80%...for more information shoot me a PM.
