clutch cable and throttle cable

For the life of my I can't figure these two out. The clutch cable hardly pulls the clutch arm at all and feel as though the way I put the cable in the carb is all wrong. Aah blah. I wish these instructions were remotely useful!

There are also quite a few threads here, in which our more experienced forum members go into greater detail on the finer points of adjusting the various controls. You'd have to do some digging with the search function, but it always seems worth it to me. Wealth of knowledge here. That's why I joined.
 
Alright, i'll look through there, thank you! Yes a 2 stroke.
I was just getting really frustrated with the throttle. Frustration is killer..
